CBay developed and started its proprietary training program for its production centers in 1999. The CBay Training Program is ISO 9001: 2008 certified.

With highly experienced trainers at the fore, the 6 month program for fresh candidates includes 4 months of intensive theory and medical transcription practice followed by 2 months of simulated production. The transcription trainers follow the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) standards. Language specialists teach the English language with emphasis on Americanism. There is an established consulting team of doctors for handling sessions in medicine and pharmacology.

CBay also conducts bridge training for candidates that gives an opportunity to the MTs / Proofers / Editors to brushup and improve upon their gap areas before touching live work.  The trainers in this program are best in the industry and apart from training technique, they possess immense production exposure too.  Trainers identify and concentrate only on individual specific concerns and the general aspect of the training includes improving ones correlation, referencing, proof reading, editing, ASR, AAMT-BOS, etc. skills.  This program is highly appreciated by the participants.
The CBay Certification Examination is conducted at the end of the training program. Only a CBay certified Medical Transcriptionist (MT) can go into "live" production.

CBay Training Cycle:

Successful CBay certified MTs are also allocated unique CBay MTIDs and their performance is monitored constantly by the corporate training team. Skill up-gradation workshops are also conducted throughout the year. CBay has successfully trained over 12000 MTs till date.
